1. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds

You may be eligible for a return or refund only under the following circumstances:

  • The order was rejected at the doorstep or returned to origin (RTO).
  • The order was cancelled before dispatch.
  • The ordered book was found to be out of stock after confirmation.
  • You received a torn, damaged, or defective book.
  • The shipment was lost in transit by our delivery partner.

Note: All requests must be submitted within 3 days of delivery. Requests received beyond this period will not be considered.

2. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds and returns will not be processed in these cases:

  • Change of mind or post-purchase disinterest.
  • Items such as toys, games, electronics, or similar, if non-functional on arrival (approach the product brand for such concerns).
  • Oxford Bookstore E-Gift Cards are non-returnable and non-refundable.

3. How to Request a Return or Refund

To raise a return or refund request:

  • Email us at oxfordonline@apeejaygroup.com with your Order ID, a brief issue summary, and supporting evidence (such as photos, videos, or a courier slip).
  • Requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Approvals are at our sole discretion.

4. Mandatory Unboxing Video for Claims

To streamline claims concerning damages or shortages:

  • Record a continuous, unedited unboxing video from the moment you receive and begin opening the package.
  • Clearly show the outer and inner packaging and any damaged or missing items.
  • This video is mandatory for validating claims.
  • Claims without proper video proof may be declined.

5. Conditions for Returns

Returned products must:

  • Be unused and in their original packaging, with all tags intact.
  • Be accompanied by the original invoice.
  • Not show any signs of use, damage, or tampering.

Returns failing these conditions will be rejected.

All disputes related to this policy will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in West Bengal, Kolkata, India.
