Oxford Bookstore, Bengaluru

The Space
Situated in the heart of the city, at 1 MG Mall Unit no 2 & 3 Upper Ground Floor. Oxford Bookstore showcases the very essence of Bangalore. The three components, the bookshop, event space and Cha Bar, while retaining their individual identities, are woven together in one space creating a unique story of a uniquely designed space. This design concept has been the organising principle of all the Oxford Bookstores and it has evolved over time.

The various sections display books on a range of topics. Relax into the specially designed comfortable seating areas, and enjoy your favourite author in complete privacy. Green stained wooden and metal shelves define the spaces and terracotta tiles line the floor. A unique "shop within a shop" concept evolves as different sections enact their own drama

with the main plot merging with sub plot to showcase their own separate "mini-worlds".

The contemporary and refreshing interior of the Cha Bar tempts all to satisfy the craving for "food for thought". Black and white form the colour highlights and along with glass panels, stainless steel trims and the backlit onyx bar top create a space of complete rejuvenation. Cha Bar flows into the event space, providing a physical space to unwind, observe, listen, think, dream and read.

Adjoining shelves hold volumes on Business, IT and Reference.
