1.1. The Oxford Bookstore’s Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club is open to all individuals residing in India.
1.2. Oxford Bookstore reserves the right to reject any application at its sole discretion without assigning any reason.
1.3. Every customer who spends Rs 200 or more on a single bill at the Oxford Bookstore is eligible for a free membership to the Oxford Bookstores Booklovers'/Bookworms' Club. Initially the club membership is for a period of one year and will expire on 31st March every year. However Oxford Bookstore may decide to extend Club membership at its sole discretion beyond this date.
1.4. The Membership is non-transferable.
2.1. The Club Membership Application Form must be completed in its entirety for the membership to be processed.
2.2. Oxford Bookstore is not responsible for any damaged/mutilated/lost in transit/incorrectly filled Membership Application Forms.
3.1. A Membership Card will be issued to the member at the time of enrolment. The members can start using this Membership Card immediately at the Oxford Bookstore to earn points from the current date, against the purchase made.
3.2. The Membership Card will be issued in the name of an individual only.
3.3. All Membership Cards even after their issuance will remain the property of Oxford Bookstore
3.4. In case of loss/theft of the Membership Card, the member must inform the Oxford by writing to the relevant email id. A new Membership Card will be issued to the individual on payment of Rs 50/- at the cashier.
4.1. Oxford Bookstore may be holding Lucky Draws from time to time for the members and all taxes, levies and related expenses such as transportation for claiming the prize(s) will have to borne by the winners.
4.2. No cash equivalent will be given in lieu of the Lucky Draw prizes, under any circumstance.
5.1. Members earn points based on their purchases. For purchases on a single bill value from Re. 1 to Rs. 4,999, members earn 6% of their bill value as points. For individual bills worth Rs 5,000 and more members earn 10% of their bill value as points. At the time of redemption each Oxford Bookstore point is worth Re. 1.
5.2. Oxford Bookstore reserves the sole right to adjust/modify the value of Oxford Bookstore Points, when necessary, to reflect changing market conditions.
5.3. No earning or redemption of Oxford Bookstore points will be permissible if on the relevant date, the membership has been withdrawn or cancelled or is liable to be cancelled.
5.4. Computation of Oxford Bookstore points by Oxford Bookstore shall be final, conclusive and binding on the member and will not be called in question or dispute except in the case of any manifest, bonafide or inadvertent error.
5.5. Oxford Bookstore points accumulated under this Club shall lapse automatically unless they are redeemed within the Membership validity period.
5.6. Pooling of Oxford Bookstore Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club points between members is not allowed.

6.1. To earn Oxford Bookstore Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club points, the member must present his Membership Card along with the day's purchases to the cashier.
6.2. Oxford Bookstore Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club points cannot be earned against invoices, which have already been stamped earlier at the cashier.
6.3. Oxford Bookstore Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club points can be earned against invoices that pertain only to the membership period of the member.
6.4. In order to earn Oxford Bookstore Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club points, a member must present the Membership Card at the time of purchase in order to qualify for earning of points
6.5. In case of exchanges, Member can earn Oxford Bookstore’s Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club points only on the additional balance amount paid by the Member in cash.
6.6. It is the discretion of Oxford Bookstore to allow the earning of Oxford Bookstore’s Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club Points on an invoice on which any other offer, floated or already in use, has been availed of, in the form of discount or otherwise.
6.7. Any dispute on the Oxford Bookstore Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club points can be verified and corrective action taken only if the invoice is provided to the cashier.
7.1. To redeem Oxford Bookstore Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club points, the member must present his Membership Card at the cashier only. Oxford Bookstore reserves the right to verify the identification of the Member before fulfilling a redemption request.
7.2. Oxford Bookstore Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club points cannot be redeemed against cash under any circumstances.
7.3. The redemption value of each Oxford Bookstore Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club points is Rs 1/- unless otherwise specified by Oxford Bookstore
7.4. Oxford Bookstore Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club points can be used to pay the whole or part thereof of the particular bill amount.
7.5. Club Member will not earn Oxford Bookstore Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club points on payments made through Oxford Bookstore Gift Cheques. However, if a Oxford Bookstore Gift Cheque were supplemented with cash to make payment, the member would earn Oxford Bookstore Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club points on the amount paid in cash.
7.6. Oxford Bookstore is not responsible for circumstances beyond its control, which may cause a delay or inability to fulfil a Oxford Bookstore Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club points redemption request, regardless of the reason.
8.1. By applying for the Membership of the Oxford Bookstore Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club, the member authorizes Oxford Bookstore, as also any of the organizations with which Oxford Bookstore may finalize arrangements, to use data stored on the Member, for marketing and communication purposes for enhanced performance of the Oxford Bookstore Clubs.
8.2. Oxford Bookstore cannot accept responsibility for circumstances beyond its control that may cause a delay or inability to fulfil requests of the members.
8.3. Oxford Bookstore shall not, in any way, be responsible for any liability incurred by the Member with respect to any aspect of the Oxford Bookstore Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club.
8.4. Oxford Bookstore shall not in any way be liable or under any obligation to the Member in case the Oxford Bookstore Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club is withdrawn/modified due to statutory enactments and judicial/quasi-judicial orders.
8.5. Oxford Bookstore reserves the right to extend, cancel, discontinue, withdraw, change, alter or modify, any or any part thereof, of the rules, terms, conditions, duration of the Oxford Bookstore Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club, without any liability, at its sole discretion at anytime without assigning any reason with or without prior notification.
8.6. Oxford Bookstore shall not be responsible or liable for any failure, error, omission or delay in the delivery of information for any reason whatsoever.
8.7. The decision of Oxford Bookstore in respect to the Oxford Bookstore Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
8.8. Entry into the Oxford Bookstore Booklovers'/ Bookworms' Club is deemed on acceptance of all conditions herein.
8.9. In case of any disputes or differences between parties, in connection with this Club, the same shall be decided by arbitration. The arbitrator shall be the Managing Director, Oxford Bookstore or any person nominated by him. The arbitration shall be conducted as per the prevailing arbitration laws/rules and venue shall be Mumbai.
