All entries must be the sole property of the author and he/she must attest that the manuscript does not infringe upon any right to privacy or copyright and that he/she has not entered into any other agreement that would conflict with this one.
The decision of the judges will be final and binding. The winners of the best three first chapters will be declared on May 1.
The best three first chapters will receive cash prizes of Rs. 5,000, Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 2,000..
Oxfordbookstore.com will not be returning any rejected entries.
The book selected for the first prize will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 25, 000. The two runners-up will receive attractive consolation prizes of Rs. 7,000 and Rs. 5,000.
All entries will be checked for spelling and grammatical errors and necessary editorial changes (at the discretion of the oxfordbookstore.com editors) may be made to the submission before it is added to the site.
Oxfordbookstore.com reserves the right not to publish any of the e-books on the advice of the judges.
Oxfordbookstore.com reserves the right to amend the rules of this contest at its sole discretion.
